Children's Ministries

First Baptist, Collinsville has a commitment to providing a safe, fun place where children of all ages can connect with God through: Worship: Nursery/Extended Care: Childcare is available for children from birth - age 5, during the Sunday morning worship service and at other times. Located in the basement floor of the Education Building. (Rooms 02-08; click here to view the church layout) Children Worship Feature: A children's mini-message provided during our morning worship service on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month. A special time designated for all children of the church. Children's Church: (Ages K - 5th grade) The 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month, children will start in the sanctuary for an opening and then will leave together for Children's Church. This ministry is a special time of activities and learning through stories, Bible scripture, songs and other activities designed to put worship on their level. (Room 210; click here to view the church layout) Discipleship and Ministry: Sunday School: Introducing children to the Bible on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM. Kids on Mission: A fun time combining Bible Study, learning about missions and doing missions. Meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM from September through May. Mission Friends: A fun time where we educate our young preschoolers about the biblical basis for missions. Meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM from September through May. Children's Choirs: To introduce our children to biblical songs.    Preschool Choir: 1st and 3rd Sundays, 11:00 AM - Noon    1st - 6th Grade Choir: Wednesday nights, 5:15 - 6:00 PM, from September through May. Fellowship: The Children's Ministry of 1st Baptist sponsors several activities for fellowship during the year. Here are some of our exciting activities: • Hallelujah Night and Trunk or Treat • Christmas Outing to Nursing Homes • Easter Egg Hunt • Children's Summer Fun Days • Children's Music Camp • Vacation Bible School
