Fostering Champions

Fostering Champions is an initiative aimed at assisting teenagers who are aging out of foster care. Two homes are being built in Martinsville and Henry County (one housing  young men and one housing  young women). Our church is helping with the construction of the homes through financial donations and volunteer labor. After completion, the residents of both homes will be taught life skills such as balancing a check book, managing credit card use, purchasing major items such as a car, cooking, sewing, etc. We also plan to conduct Bible Studies to encourage spiritual growth of the young men and women.
